هاغورومو وهامورا، ابنا كاغويا قد كبرا الآن ويساعدان والدتهما على إدارة القرية، لكن لقاءهما بالضفدع غامامارو سيغيّر كلّ شيء بعد أن يعرفا الحقيقة التي تقع خلف ذروة الشجرة المقدسة

Kaguya is furious that Hagoromo has broken the law. Hagoromo finds out what Kaguya did in the past and makes up his mind to fight her. Knowing nothing about her, Hagoromo cannot trust her—he wonders if the love and the despair she experienced are the sole cause of her anger. Unable to reach an understanding, mother and sons begin their long, sad battle.

Black Zetsu reveals that he masterminded and influenced all the events from the end of Ashura and Indra's era to the current Fourth Great Ninja War. Naruto rejects Black Zetsu’s claim that the entire history of shinobi was solely for the resurrection of his mother, Kaguya. Naruto and Sasuke work together to seal away Kaguya, but they can't find a way to counter her.

قصة أشورا وإيندرا، كيف ابتكر إيندرا إشارات اليد وطريقة تأدية التقنيات وغيّر مفهوم النينشو، ثمّ مقابلته لزيتسو وتفعيله للشارينغان

تستمر صرامة إيندرا ويقع خلاف بين الأخوين، تأتي اللحظة الحاسمة ليُقرر هاغورومو أيّ من أبنائه سيرث النينشو لكنه يقرر أن رسلهما في رحلةٍ لتحديد من الأجدر بالوراثة.

يكتشف أشورا أن الشجرة المقدسة هي سبب علّة الجميع وأنه يجب التخلص منها، لكن حتى ذلك لن يحسّن حال القرويّين بالتالي يعزم على محاولة حلٍّ آخر ولو بيأس. يعود إيندرا مبكرًا إلى القرية وينتظر هاغورومو عودة ابنه الآخر أشورا لتقرير وريث النينشو
