Loving You a Thousand Times

While working multiple jobs to help support her family, Go Eun Nim dreams of going back to school. Lee Sun Young, on the other hand, has married into money, but struggles with infertility and a nightmare mother-in-law.

When Sun Young’s infertility is confirmed, her mother-in-law requests that she keep it a secret. Meanwhile, 24 year old Eun Nim is struggling to raise money to pay for her father’s operation and support her family.

When Sae Hoon's mother suggests that Sun Young think about using a surrogate mother, Sun Young is stunned. Eun Nim's sister, Nam Jung, is scared Eun Nim will compel her to donate her liver to their sick father.

Two families become intricately intertwined when Eun Nim makes the ultimate sacrifice to save her father. Nan Jung continues her antics, making her feelings known to Kang Ho.

Sun Young announces that she is pregnant and Sae Hoon is thrilled. As a result of the good news, he vows to leave his mistress. Under a lot of stress, Sun Young has too much to drink.

Eun Nim prepares to go away for the duration of her pregnancy and asks her father to take good care of himself. Sae Hoon's mother pays out a sum of money when she sees an ultrasound scan of the baby Eun Nim is carrying.

Sae Hoon learns that Sun Young lied about being pregnant and that a surrogate is carrying his child. Furious, he leaves home to find comfort in the arms of another woman, while Sun Young flees to a hotel in despair.

Three years later, drama is still the main ingredient when it comes to Eun Nim and Kang Ho's complicated relationship. Yoo Bin throws a fit and a wallet off a bed as the show sets off yet again with its own unique pace.

Eun Nim learns that her father is working two jobs due to her stepsister's irresponsible credit card spending, and she tries to help him pay off the debt, but loses her wallet. Meanwhile, the Baeks are very pleased with their new son, Yoo Bin, who resembles only his father.

In the tenth installment of this series, Yeon Hee is still hung up over her and the married Jae Hoon's hopeless relationship. Meanwhile, things are heating up in Eun Nim and Kang Ho's respective households, and things come to a standstill at the end of the episode.

Eun Nim meets with Chairman Baek's daughter, Yoo Bin, for lunch. Eun Nim immediately bonds with Yoo Bin's young son. Later, Eun Nim and Kang Ho travel by bus to participate in a three day survival exercise.

A drunken Kang Ho asks Eun Nim out on a date, but she does not receive it well. After his embarrassment, Kang Ho becomes angry with his father's unwillingness to take up a certain company investment. As Yeon Hee struggles to come to terms with her affair, she takes a pregnancy test.

Kang Ho returns Eu Nim's wallet after she agrees through a contract to purchase five dinners for him. Yeon Hee and Eun Nim come face-to-face for the first time. Yeon Hee's mother arrives in Seoul, and her daughter's predicament becomes famous throughout the community.

Yeon Hee eats dinner with Sae Hoon and is convinced to continue her studies. Sun Young and Sae Hoon's mother argue about baby Yoo Bin's language learning skills. Eun Nim and Kang Ho have another dinner and Eun Nim begins to realize that he may not be so bad after all.

Sae Hoon says hurtful things to Yeon Hee and wants her to disappear from his life. Everyone celebrates Sun Young's birthday. Yoo Bin has the last slice of cake. Eun Nim offers to purchase another dinner for Kang Ho and the shy Kang Ho is unsure of whether or not he should accept the offer.

Lee Chul informs his mother that he is starting a new job at a chicken restaurant. Sae Hoon tells Yeon Hee that their relationship is over for good. Kang Ho admits his love for Eun Nim and angers her greatly; she then seeks her grandmother at the cake shop for further counsel.

Eun Nim rejects Kang Ho's advances and tells him not to waste any further time on her. Kang Ho refuses to give up the chase and kisses Eun Nim, receiving a slap in return. He then goes to his family's house and announces the news that he likes a girl.

Kang Ho asks for Sun Young's help in wooing Eun Nim, and he questions why Eun Nim would reject him. Soon after, Eun Nim is almost hit by a car but Kang Ho saves her just in time, sacrificing his own health to earn an "I love you" in return.

Kang Ho and Eun Nim express their mutual love for each other as Kang Ho rests in a hospital bed. Once he is better, he shouts his love from the rooftops. Yeon Hee and Sae Hoon talk a great deal in public despite Sae Hoon's previous assertions that the offensive relationship is over.

Kang Ho has a big success at work, but steps on some toes when he tries to get more involved. Sae Hoon gives Yeon Hee an ultimatum.

Kang Ho proposes to Eun Nim and they discuss it thoroughly. Kang Ho's mother bursts into tears after he apologizes her, marking dark things to come. Kang Ho holds Eun Nim's hand in a crowded elevator, showing that he is unafraid of publicizing the couple's strong love for each other.

The adulterer Sae Hoon gets back together with his mistress, the notoriously beautiful Yeon Hee. A confused and lovestruck Kang Ho sees his brother and a strange woman leaving a hotel room. Meanwhile, Sae Hoon's business deal has not been going well at all and people are starting to notice.

Sae Hoon tells his brother, Kang Ho, that he is silly for wanting to marry Eun Nim, who is only a secretary. As the story continues to unfold, Yeon Hee declares her everlasting regard for Sae Hoon and still wants to continue the adulterous and disastrous relationship that they share.

Kang Ho tries to confront Sae Hoon's mistress, but she maintains that their relationship is none of his business. Sae Hoon tells Eun Nim to stop going out with Kang Ho, but it backfires and Kang Ho becomes even angrier. Eun Nim's job begins to hang on a single thread.
