Whilst David and Jenny are asleep, Bill and Ben see two men smuggling goods into a car, leading them to believe the pair are thieves.

Ben becomes addicted to a computer game, trying to relieve the stress of his decline in customers, while Rona visits an old Catholic school.

Jenny helps her mum and Rona in a catering event. The day is stressful enough for the women, but added to their troubles is the nightmarish Tina.

Ben's long-running feud with Jake, a rival heating repairman, ends in apparent tragedy. Meanwhile, Bill is paid a visit by a health inspector.

The Porters go on holiday to Florida, but disaster strikes in the form of a hurricane named 'Bill' that seems to be following them.

The Porter family and their friend Rona decide to spend a relaxing Christmas with Bette and Auntie Pearl in a hotel in the country.
