The Trail

Laramy Sasquatch Miller is hitting The Trail again with his trusty horse Seven and packhorse Jenson. Laramy preps and packs his gear, then says goodbye to his family and sets out on a challenging adventure complete with beautiful scenery, wildlife and...roadblocks? kwhunting kwadventure

Discovering the trail was impassible, Laramy backtracks to find a way around the deadfall to continue his journey, hunting, fishing and foraging his way deeper into the back country.

Laramy continues to have success foraging and fishing, but has yet to stalk any big game. With winter weather closing in, Laramy decides to build a shelter and setting into camp so he can stay dry in the rain and snow.

Laramy has some unexpected and unwelcome guests in camp, but the result, is the first red meat he's had in weeks. He takes care of the hide and plans out his next move on The Trail.

Laramy packs up camp and begins the head down the trail when he crosses paths with an opportunity he can't pass up.

Laramy spots an elk herd on the adjacent hillside and decides to try stalking them. A successful stalk means lots of camp chores for Laramy before he heads down the trail.

All of the hunting success Laramy has experienced means a long to-do list at his next camp. After Laramy gets camp established, he gets sets to work processing and preserving meat and fleshing hides but an injury to his pack horse Jensen slows his progress.

Laramy continues his camp chores while letting Jensen's leg heal. Cooking a rack of bear ribs for dinner fleshing hides, and rendering bear fat for water proofing and leather conditioning. Laramy deals with a pack of wolves that comes in close and makes the horses nervous.

As Laramy's trip comes to a close, he reflects on the time he's spent on The Trail and makes preparations to travel out of the wilderness.

Laramy finishes packing and loading his gear on Seven and Jensen and sets out on the trail to return home. After a joyful reunion with his family, Laramy creates a keepsake for his daughter using his tanned elk hide.
