Joe (Colin Firth), along with his two daughters, Mary (Perla Haney-Jardine) and Kelly (Willa Holland), after losing his wife in a car accident, tries to start a new life in the Italian city of Genoa. However, little Mary will begin to continually see her mother everywhere.
