It is the story of the People's Theatre, a group of artists, where Vrigu and Anushuya, the lead actors of two rival groups, struggle to create new, politically ideological works in the early days of India's independence. However, the troupe's vision is constantly pitted against human problems of real life: jealousy, financial trouble and internal rivalry. And at last they starts journey together.
