Present day, Sid, Mel and Tas at their ritualistic Saturday football game, watch Mel's son play for their old team. Tas informs them of his new invention, Tender, a dating app connecting older men with younger women and the boys spin off into 1980 recalling their glory days when Sid saw himself as a rockstar, Mel was a prodigy footballer and Tas, was a nerd for the latest comics and gadgetry.

Sid, who has his eyes on any new girl, snubs, Michelle for Tanya, a girl he noticed floating around the water taps. Johnno, recently released from the juvenile facility, Turana, has returned to school and immediately picks on Tas. Mel intervenes to save Tas but winds up in Johnno's crosshairs. Mel decides nip the matter in the bud but winds up risking his footy career with a possible suspension.

Sid is annoyed about Tassie's his new dating app, Tender, claiming that technology has taken the fun and gratification out of relationships. Tas fights back by arguing that it is a reflection of today's needs but Sid mocks Tassie for always looking for artificial ways to avoid a real connection. Flash back to 1980 when Tas found his father's dirty magazines and Mel loses one in the classroom.

The boys plan to burgle the principle's office to retrieve a missing magazine but nothing goes quite as planned. Back in present day, Stan. Mel's son, asks his father if he can go home with Sid. Mel who only sees his son on Saturday's reluctantly allows it, knowing his son really prefers music to playing football and that Sid's son, a successful musician often visits from the US.

Mel is frustrated with his son's lack of football skills draws derision from Sid who warns him not to try to clone the boy. Tas, agrees but is distracted by his social media seemingly spying on him. They reminisce about 1980, when they had an assignment on Brave New World. Sid sees an opportunity to try to seduce the only girl in school who won't pay him attention by asking for her help..

Tas, inspired by Brave New World, experiments with breeding his sea monkeys. Sid fails to impress Wendy and nearly gets her into trouble when he's called in to the office for plagiarising her work. He is put on notice to hand his assignment again by the next day, a feat no one expects him to be able to achieve leaving him with no option but to beg Wendy for forgiveness and to help him prepare.

Sid still believes he is God's gift and flirts with a gorgeous girl despite the fact that she is with another man. The boys recall the day when Sid bet he could even seduce the new math teacher. He waxes that dogs can detect the smell of any woman and being the biggest dog, he can seduce her too.. Tas, inspired by Sid's dog theory, hypothesises that perhaps a dingo did snatch Azaria Chamberlain.

Sid, once more, gets someone else in trouble with his bet to seduce a teacher. Tas re-enacts the Azaria Chamberlain crime using his cousin's dog. Back in present day the boys recall their brazen behavior and how times have changed. Sid, despite being a happily married man, can't help wonder if he's lost his mojo. Mel is forced to face his former nemesis who who went on to become a football legend
