Paranormal Investigators: Phasmophobia

In a disused psychiatric hospital complex, three challengers are introduced and are tasked to investigate three locations on their own, in the dark, to determine what is unexplained and what is not. In the back ground a team of ghost hunters are on standby preparing to investigate the paranormal. Armed with only a camera, the three challengers face unexpected terrors.

In part two all three challengers enter their designated buildings and experience the terrors of a dark disused hospital. What horrors linger with these walls, some are not prepared to find out. Who will last and who will not? In the final half of the episode, the team of paranormal investigators begin their investigations. What is real and what is not.

Because of the plethora of happenings, the investigation of this foreboding location spans out over two episodes. Presenter Andrea invites university lecturer Dr Tony Jinks to do a site inspection of this old abandoned hospital before the night sets in. With three new challengers ready for a night of solitary experiments, who will break under the strain of night terrors?

In part two the team of ghost hunters embark on their investigation in this abandoned old hospital, which has seen 100 years of recovery, suffering and death. No longer operational, the team find out that something sinister has taken residence within this location. This will be the crew's most intense and horrifying investigation yet as one member succumbs to the forces of a supernatural entity.

The team travels to one of the most haunted towns in Australia, Picton. Joined by university lecturer Dr Tony Jinks, Andrea conducts a walk through to uncover the psychical nature of the old Imperial Hotel. After the two new challengers are thrown into the deep end of two new experiments, the team investigate the basement of this old historic location and discover that they are not alone.

Four new challengers are introduced to and old psychiatric asylum in a technical test and put themselves into the shoes of paranormal investigators. The team are joined by a member of another paranormal group in a joint venture to uncover evidence of paranormal activity. In the meantime Andrea and Tony do their own investigations and find out why ghost hunters do what they do.

This two part episode explores the world of psychics in an old derelict sanatorium. The participants are given brief descriptions of the buildings history and goings on. Some being misleading, deliberately planted to see how it will influence their perception and experiences. After a crash course in psychic development they are sent off to investigate using their intuitions.

The quest into the unknown in the derelict sanatorium continues as Andrea puts two challengers through the psychic test. With some twists and turns this episode picks up where the previous episode left off. This season final pushes the veil between two worlds and poses the all important question that this series is known for exploring. What is real? What is not?
