Perky Pensioner Jack Jarvis wants to move up in the world by relocating to more salubrious surroundings. So he hires a dodgy van, fills it with all his earthly belongs and heads-up to his new address. Jack's old pal Victor McDade isn't so sure that this towerblock is big enough for the both of them. Meanwhile, Winston's got an eye for a boxer and thinks he's found a contender.

Desperate to discover what time precisely his son is coming to visit, Victor needs to decipher a vital answerphone message. Jack suggests they seek assistance from the expert ears of Shug the Lug, the OAP with the best sense of hearing in all Craiglang. Meanwhile, Winston finds himself in a meaty scrap for the tastiest cuts down at the local butchers.
