PLAY IT AGAIN DICK

Ryan Hansen tries to get Kristen Bell and The CW execs Mark Pedowitz and Thom Sherman on board for a spinoff starring his Veronica Mars character, Dick Casablancas, as a private detective.

Rob Thomas, co-creator of Veronica Mars, is asked about his involvement in the spinoff. Ryan and Jason Dohring - who is really pumped about the new show - discuss ideas.

Enrico Colantoni tells Ryan he is down to do the show - in return for a small favor. Percy Daggs III also agrees to put in an appearance ... barely. Rose McGiver guest stars.

Francis Capra talks type-casting with Ryan, and Ryan talks type with Ken Marino. Meanwhile, a dancer named Gaston gets enthusiastic about the need to practice the major dance number.

When Jason Dohring isn't happy with his role in the show, Ryan quickly finds a replacement. Filming begins! So does the body count. Robert Buckley also guest stars.

As the spinoff unrolls with Dick on the case of a murder (and his stolen sunglasses), he is reunited with Madison Sinclair (Amanda Noret) and the ghost of his brother, Beaver (Kyle Gallner).

Dick calls Veronica for backup. An epic fight takes place between Dick and an Asian chef. Will Dick come out on top? Christopher B. Duncan and Daran Norris also guest star.

A surprising twist in the murder mystery takes place, and Veronica (Kristen Bell) is reunited with an old flame. Oh, and that major dance scene? It happens. Twice.
