Jane, Kat, and Sutton are reunited when Kat returns to New York after her vacation with Adena. Jane gets to work on her first vertical for Incite while Sutton and Richard debate getting back together.

Jane is shocked after her new boss turns her thoughtful piece into a takedown. Kat confronts her past while exploring her biracial identity. Sutton faces scrutiny while organizing a fashion spread featuring honorable (and super-hot) men.

Sutton is put in a tough spot when Kat asks her to hire Adena to photograph an accessories shoot. Jane makes a pitch for a freelance article on healthcare and gains inspiration by following Ben, a cute and altruistic doctor, on his rounds.

Jane teams up with Pinstripe to try her hand at gossip reporting. Adena reluctantly brings Kat out to meet her friends, leading Kat to wonder about Adena's past. Sutton fights for an in with a well-connected influencer.

Kat gets the go-ahead to hire her first addition to the social team, but grows frustrated by the lack of diversity in the applicant pool.

Jane gets a freelance opportunity that throws her in Jacqueline's path yet again. Sutton has the nightmarish task of having to style Richard's new girlfriend.

It's Jane's first day back at Scarlet and when she learns what Sutton is hiding in their apartment, she has the perfect headline. Adena shocks Kat with her reaction to Kat's recent actions.

After an almost-pregnancy scare, Jane writes an article considering if motherhood is in her near future. Kat is offered an opportunity to be a spokesperson, and Sutton races to pull together a microbudget photo shoot.

On the heels of the Scarlet website relaunch, the girls take a road trip. Sutton races to finalize her passport before Paris leading to a confrontation. Jane is overwhelmed by fertility planning while Kat starts to feel the distance between her and Adena.

Jane is frustrated to learn that Safford's health insurance policy won't cover freezing her eggs. Sutton's career hits a high in Paris, but when news reaches her she begins to wonder if she's sacrificed too much.
