Steve Drexel is a yachtsman who makes a bet with his friend that he can swim ashore to a south-sea island with nothing but a toothbrush and by the time his friends return he will be living a right royal life. His friend takes the bet and Steve proceeds to live on the island, crafting tools and building a home. Soon a beautiful island girl discovers him and romance begins.
