Mapp And Lucia

Comedy drama series about the rivalry between two society ladies. Lucia tires of life in Riseholme and moves to the seaside town of Tilling with her friend Georgie.

Lucia rents Mallards from Mapp, and the two ladies soon begin battling to outdo each other as Mapp realises she has a fight on her hands.

Mapp learns that an Italian countess is paying a visit. Lucia and Georgie claimed to be linguists, and Mapp is keen to catch them out.

Lucia sells her house in Riseholme and buys Grebe - a house just outside Tilling on the marshes. She soon becomes a leading Tilling hostess.

Some months have passed, and both Mapp and Lucia are believed lost at sea.
