The first of two music/comedy shorts, each eight-to-ten minutes long, which were created, written and performed by improvisational comedians/writers/musicians Jack Black and Kyle Gass, who bring a demented, anything-goes attitude to their work.

Series premiere. "Heavy acoustic" troubadours Jack and Kyle have five days to write a new song. Later, a song attracts Laura Kightlinger.

Sasquatch helps the boys get past Captain Ed's negativity. Later, the boys explain why they must sing "The Greatest Song in the World."
