Popeye

Sailors Popeye and his rival Bluto are in a Latin American port, vying with each other for the attentions of Olivia Oylia, a conga-loving Latino.

Popeye takes on the enemy fleet, including an aircraft carrier and planes. His strength reinforced by spinach, he becomes a one-man scourge.

Popeye's four nephews unwillingly sample a plate of spinach and then give their uncle a hard time.

No sooner do Popeye and his sea-going sidekick, Bluto, agree that wimmin is bad luck, than Olive gallops up the gangplank of the battleship the boys are on. The women haters start fighting for the right to show her the ship.

Popeye is in the Navy and Bluto is in the Army, but Bluto is confined to camp limits. When he sees his dearest enemy en route to a date with Olive, he has several tricks to play on Popeye before the date is kept.

Olive entrusts the care of Swee'Pea to Popeye while she goes on a shopping tour. Popeye tries unsuccessfully to amuse Swee'Pea by whittling toy boats for him but Swee'Pea won't settle for anything smaller than the big ship riding at anchor.

Popeye and Bluto are on a battleship anchored off a tropic isle. The big-muscled gob is dreaming about Princess Alona who is really Olive Oyl in a sarong.

Popeye and Bluto desire to win government contracts to build ships, and vie with each other in constructing the biggest and best ship in the shortest time. To the winner is to go a huge contract.

Popeye seeks rest and contentment in his easy chair but his four little musical nephews have other ideas.
