Delays in Christchurch's High Street force Southern to move out to Leeston, where Ollie Edge and his team have to gas cut a petrol station roof - right above live gas pumps! And explosions at Evan's Pass as the team detonate the hillside to prepare for works on the new connecting road.

Frustrations grow at Christchurch's High Street as delays mount. The façade has been tied in incorrectly, and the team catch it just in the nick of time. Demolition Boss Alan Edge is called in to give the engineers a piece of his mind. In Invercargill, Demolition World spring into action when WorkSafe pays them a site visit.

Demolition World are ready to start the final demo on their Invercargill Church, but a small site and a large bell tower pose a problem for demolition boss David Fallow. After months of delays, Southern Demolition are finally getting into the job at Christchurch's High Street - only to be called away from site when they get a call that burglars are stealing scrap metal from another site.

Younger brother Tyler Ward has joined the Ward Demolition Team, and he's cutting his teeth on the Ellerslie Racecourse. Under the watchful eye of father and boss Peter Ward, will he meet Ward Demolition's high standards? And work wraps up at High Street, with an archaeologist brought onto site to see if there's any historic treasures buried underneath the foundation slabs.

At Ellerslie Stables, the team get to grips with asbestos in the roof. A quake-damaged wharf in Wellington needs to be demolished before the piles collapse on their own. Steve Mackenzie continues his one-man demolition at Coleridge Street, Christchurch, and just down the road, New Zealand's biggest ever demolition begins iconic rugby stadium, Lancaster Park.

A fire-damaged feed factory has been deemed to dangerous to demolish by traditional means, and a specialist remote-controlled digger is brought in to do the job. Tyler Ward takes the reigns at Ellerslie - under the watchful eye of his father. And salvage begins in the Lancaster Park stands as Lee Butcher attempts to meet his ambitious recycling goal.

The former 100 year old Wood Mill in Christchurch is being partly demolished and renovated, as builder Sandro Deitos and his team race against the clock to get the building back up to scratch. Hard demolition begins on the Tui stand at Lancaster Park, and Union Demolition in Auckland begin room way for 7500 new houses as part of the Tamaki social housing project.

Steel reinforcements have been set up in Wood Mill, but disaster strikes - the measurements are totally out, and they're not supporting the building at all. Ward Demolition are tasked with smashing up three, million-dollar super-yachts. And Dalton begins work at the former Lion bottling factory - with a familiar face from Christchurch joining the team.

The floors are being poured at Wood Mill, but a hot day has the concrete mix setting in the pipes, and a pest problem on site calls for an unorthodox solution. In Whangarei, an asbestos-riddled fertilizer shed poses a serious hazard and demolition expert Terry MacMillan will have to be extra careful to make sure no contaminated materials leave the site.
