Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern

Andrew takes to the jungles of Mexico where he learns to live off the land. It's a journey where not only his stomach is tested, but his mind and body. Andrew must survive with only a handful of objects and eat only foods he can forage in the woods.

Andrew Zimmern takes a Wild West tour of the Lone Star State. Andrew samples some of the most outrageous food creations including nitrogen frozen dessert, chocolate bacon and fried alligator. He also gets a tour of the NASA kitchens and a taste of space!

Andrew heads to the Appalachian Mountains to get a taste of the region's culture and its food. He hunts for squirrel in West Virginia and attends a Liver Mush Festival in North Carolina. He also tries baked raccoon and possum.

Andrew heads into the Australian Outback where he eats wallaby with some Aborigines, samples crocodile cooked on the barbie and helps thin out the huge populartion of poisonous cane toads by making them into a meal.

Andrew travels to Seoul, South Korea where he feasts on the country's most authentic soups, barbecues and fermented foods. Andrew's Asian adventure goes beyond eating when makes his first batch of fresh kimchi during a visit to a large factory.

Andrew comes to the beautiful eastern African country of Tanzania. Andrew samples the traditional Tanzanian breakfast supu. It's a soup made with goat lungs, heart and liver, as well as cow stomach, intestines and tongue.

If it lives in the sea or in the sand, it's edible and Andrew is ready to surf it up! From sea slugs in Samoa, to mangrove snake in the Philippines, Andrew has tasted some of the strangest creatures to ever come out of the ocean.
