Grounded for Life

When Jimmy and Henry use Eddie and Sean's collection of rare quarters in a vending machine, Eddie decides to teach them a valuable lesson.

Sean seems to be annoyed by every move Dan O'Keefe makes. Claudia says the real problem is Sean's unhappiness about Brad and Lily. And Claudia's peacemaking attempts blow up in her face.

Lily is afraid of hurting Dean when she breaks up with him.

Brad gets bullied.

Things go wrong at every turn when Brad tries to take Lily out on a special, romantic date. Eddie breaks a window in the Finnerty sewing room but refuses to take responsibility. And when Henry catches his parents in a giant lie, they try to buy him off with a cat.

When Lily announces that college isn't for her, Claudia challenges Lily to beat her at the S.A.T.

Money's tight at the Finnerty household - too tight to pay for Lily to get a tattoo removed. Claudia thinks there's enough money for her college tuition, but her check bounces. Maybe that has something to do with a loan Sean gave Eddie.

When it appears that Lily drove home drunk from a party, Sean decides to sell her car. And Eddie turns the Finnerty front yard into a used car lot.

Jimmy's in the throes of puberty, and Sean decides it's time for 'the talk'. When Brad sees Claudia naked and can't stop grinning about it, Lily knows that drastic measures are in order.

Lily is in a panic over her less than flattering yearbook photo.

Lily flirts with a well dressed guy she meets while trying to upgrade Brad's wardrobe.

Eddie hires a bouncer for the Red Boot, but it soon becomes clear that he's really Eddie's bodyguard. And Claudia, who finds studying at home impossible, is constantly trying to recruit a babysitter.

Lily and Brad run into Dean and his new girlfriend, and it's painfully awkward. And Eddie tries his hand at stand-up comedy using Sean's and Claudia's lives for his material.

Sean proves to be hopeless at taking phone messages. Jimmy makes a '976' call. And Lily racks up the cell phone minutes chatting with Brad at his grandfather's in Florida.

Claudia bans Eddie permanently from the Finnerty house when it's revealed that he used their living room as a set for a porn movie. And Jimmy's confused when a girl at school starts beating up on him.

Sean and Claudia just want ninety minutes alone at home to get a couples massage, and they hope Eddie will help them make that happen. Brad and Lily go to their first big dance as a couple but are back home much sooner than expected.

When the kids are made to sign an abstinence pledge at school, Sean terrifies Brad with threats of hell and damnation if he breaks the pledge.

Sean's in hot water when he accidentally reveals that Dan O'Keefe's been having an affair. And Jimmy's a teenager, but he's still hooked on his baby 'banky.'

Brad's depressed that his parents have separated, so Lily throws him a birthday party to cheer him up. And Sean's astonished when he sees Eddie and Brad's mom making out in Eddie's car.

Walt's in trouble with Claudia when she learns that he buried his cat in her place in the family plot.

An ex-girlfriend comes back into Eddie's life threatening to jeopardize his new relationship with Hope. And Jimmy starts dating a deaf girl.

It's St. Patrick's Day, and it's Sean and Eddie's last chance to make the Red Boot Pub a money-making venture.

Sean gets branded as a bad parent when he tries to deal with Henry's obnoxious friend. And Lily's bored by Brad's friends but finds it's best to let him keep them.

Claudia's shocked when she gets an F in English, because, her professor says, her paper was plagiarized. And Eddie tries to give Jimmy some advice on dating.
