“Umbrellas: Escape From Robben Island” kicks off where The Umbrella Men ends. In The Umbrella Men, the members of the minstrel troupe have managed to save their beloved Goema Club, their spiritual and musical home in the Bo Kaap, from greedy property developers by robbing a bank, the very same bank that is funding an evil property developer named Tariq.
