Cold Feet

Jenny is trying to get pregnant, her husband Pete is trying to get drunk and his best mate Adam is trying to break the record for one-night stands. David is climbing the career ladder but his wife Karen is climbing the walls, desperate for a nanny. Rachel has just been ditched by her boyfriend but soon finds hope of another love when she collides with Adam at the supermarket.

Jenny is pregnant and stressed by Pete's over-enthusiasm towards child-birth, as she is not looking forward to it. David wants to have another child to solve their present child's temper tantrums but Karen has other ideas. Adam and Rachel are battling over territory and Jenny's labour turns into a comedy with Adam playing a lead role.

David is having problems with his sex life and asks Adam for some advice. Meanwhile Adam tries to spice up his own love life with Rachel and things soon take an interesting turn when Rachel reveals her deepest fantasy which involves a shop window.

Karen starts work at a publishing house and finds one of the authors very charming. David begins to fret when he thinks the new nanny is attracted to him, while Pete and Jenny find that their patience and cool are put to the test when his parents pay them a visit.

Karen and a reluctant David go to marriage guidance counselling. Pete gets cable for Jenny as a surprise - she thinks it's time they got out more. Rachel thinks Adam's turning into an old man before his time.

The three couples head off to a charity ball and a very drunk Jenny brawls with Natalie.
