It's the start of the spring term and Kingsley has come back with a new image: he's grown a soul patch and started yo-yoing. Josie too is turning over a new leaf by making friends with Heather, a girl from her course and a self-styled "mental dental." JP's great friend from Stowe, Giles, has transferred from Exeter, but he has some big news that is about to shatter JP's world.

A series of muggings on campus culminates in Howard getting robbed for his shoes - even though the muggers didn't actually ask for them. Meanwhile, Josie reacts poorly to the news that her new BFF Heather has started dating Kingsley.

During a student networking event for the oil industry, a slick BP executive earmarks Kingsley for great things and offers him a coveted ticket to a "Students to Watch Brackets North" event. JP tries his hand at being the next Mark Zuckerberg and pays someone to design an iPhone app that is also a razor.

It's Easter break and JP's family leave their country house, and there's nothing for him to do but throw a weekend rager.

Josie and Heather go on a massive bender before their first practical exam. Oregon attempts a "man fast" but swiftly breaks it when she meets and falls for Dylan, the sexy librarian.

Kingsley is uncharacteristically furious when Dan, the geology tutor, seemingly forgets about the very existence of sedimentary rock during a seminar. Josie learns that she has been kicked off her course for good but chooses not to tell anyone as she petitions to get back on.

Heather forces Kingsley to confront his dreams of being a musician when she signs him up for an open mic night at the Student Union.

The end of the academic year is drawing near. Josie, her secret now out, must decide what to do with her life. Kingsley finds himself accidentally moving into a one-bedroom flat with Heather.
