After suffering the loss of his wife, Burke Ryan becomes a successful self-help books writer who teaches how to deal with such a pain. During a series of conferences in Seattle, he meets Eloise, a disenchanted florist who discovers his best kept secret: he is incapable of following his own advice to get over his wife’s death.
