Masha's Tales

Father Frost tells the story of one angry woman with two daughters: one of her own that she pampered and the second one her stepdaughter that she treats very badly.

Alyonushka and her brother Ivanushka go to the forest disobeying their parents. The children meet the magical stove and the talking apple tree on their travels.

The Fox has a hut made of ice but the Rabbit a wooden one. When spring arrives the Fox’s hut melts away so she moves into the Rabbit’s hut and kicks him out!

Mum asks Red Riding Hood to carry some cakes to her grandmother. However the cakes smell so delicious that the girl decides to sit on a stump and eat a pie.

Mother Goat goes to pick up cabbage leaving her seven kids alone at home. Hungry Wolf tries to get into the house imitating mother Goat’s voice to fool the little yeanlings.

Masha tells the story of a fisherman his wife the wolf the fox the cat and the mouse!

There was a man living in a village. In a deep forest near that village, the Bear settled in. The Bear asked the man for some tasty treats. The man gave the Bear two options of what he prefers to eat: the tops or the roots.

Masha tells the story of a Tsar who had three sons: the oldest married a nobleman’s daughter the second married a merchant’s daughter while the youngest son married... a frog.

Masha tells the Russian fairy tale about the Snow Maiden which was molded by Grandmother and Grandfather. The Snow Maiden grew very fast. Grandmother and Grandfather cared much about her and did not let her out of the house to prevent her melting. When the summer had come they placed her into the fridge.

Masha tells the story about a small but nonetheless brave boy. The moral is that no matter how big and tall you are you should not offend the little ones!

There lived a man with a blue beard who once went for a walk and met a girl with blue hair. Somehow the man found himself locked in a dark closet and he was very sad.

This story is about Yemelya his lazy wife and a pike which plays the role of a goldfish. The moral of the story: before making a wish think about the consequences.
