In this episode, Mark Kenyon returns to his families northern Michigan deer camp, Kenroven, to hunt whitetails with his father, David, and friend, Josh Hillyard. Kenroven was established by Mark's grandfather back in the early 80's and Mark has put a lot of effort restoring and revitalizing the property's habitat to bring the deer population back to the way it was when he was a young buck.

It's opening weekend of Minnesota's whitetail archery season and Tony Peterson is ready to hunt. Early season conditions exist, but Tony knows exactly where to sit to get close to whitetails in his home state. Tony has accomplished his pre-season prep by finding a willing landowner, dedicating the additional time to scout the property, and pre-setting stands above whitetail travel corridors. 

Tony Peterson and his daughter, Lila, set out to hunt black bears and whitetail deer in Wisconsin. After a ton of time spent establishing a consistently active bear bait pile, Tony finds out a vast majority of bears were removed and relocated from their hunting area. That plus tough weather conditions quickly turn their bear hunt into a deer hunt and Tony is able to get Lila into range on a buck.

Tony Peterson travels to the great plains state of North Dakota to bow hunt whitetails on public land. The deer are in their pre-rut stage, plus the weather is nasty which should equal a perfect recipe for finding bucks.

Ryan Callaghan joins Jason Phelps in southwest Washington to shed light on treponeme-associated hoof disease (TAHD). Once only thought to affect sheep, goats, and cows, Hoof Disease has been detected in elk since 2008 and is slowly spreading east, which should be of concern to hunters across the west. 

Ryan Callaghan travels south to the Arkansas Delta to hunt ducks in the flooded timber. Through the waterfowl community grapevine, Cal joins local farmers, Sam, John Arthur, and Harrison Whitaker, who share their duck-rich rice fields and flooded timber holes with close friends and family.
