Arika Yumemiya has made her way to the Windbloom Kingdom in search of her mother and to become what is known as an “Otome.” As she makes her way through the unfamiliar city, she runs into some interesting characters!

After watching the display put on by the Meister Otome, Arika is even more eager to join the academy of Garderobe and become an Otome! But that’s easier said than done when a council decides her and Nina’s fate after their involvement with a Slave.

Arika must face Nina in a dance battle for the princess’ coronation! With no prior experience or handle on her powers, does Arika stand a chance against top-of-the-class Nina? Another group may have plans to interfere.

After the events at the coronation, Arika is allowed to join Garderobe! There are many things she must learn to really become an Otome, but the first thing she needs to figure out is how she’ll pay for her school fees!

Arika becomes the victim of some serious bullying when her outfit is sold to a questionable shop. While the rest of the school focuses on rumors, Arika is surprised by an offer from a stranger to be sponsored!

Arika and Nina get assigned room duty for Nao in order to help them get along. During swim class, things get a bit…personal and Nina nearly drowns. Eager to prove she was sabotaged, she seeks out the culprit and finds a strange creature in the pool!

Arika takes on a part-time job that has her helping with repairs on the castle. She hears a rumor about Queen Mashiro that makes her rethink her opinion her. When the two stumble upon a mysterious machine in the castle, a Slave attacks!

After exams, the class must endure a 100-kilometer hike and survival test. Paired with Erstin, Arika sets off on this intense training exercise. But despite her eagerness to succeed, things go downhill fast. Will they survive or fall to the dangers in the mountains?

After being attacked by a mysterious figure, Arika is saved by Major Wang. But their troubles aren’t over, as communication is still down and a dangerous group lurks within the mountains.

It’s a day filled with birthdays but as things keep going awry, things aren’t looking so good for any of the birthday girls. Nina’s beloved watch is stolen, and she lashes out at Arika. Meanwhile, Mashiro runs out on her duties to sneak around town.

With Mashiro still missing, Arika is forced to take her place and greet the foreign prince. Meanwhile, the real queen explores her country with a new friend. But how long will the disguises hold up?

Mashiro and Arika are reunited in the village of Aswad and learn more about the Schwarz, their motives, and how Otome GEMs are created. Nao and Natsuki begin a journey to the Aries Republic, while Nina remains at Garderobe by Nagi’s side.

Natsuki implores Aries for help, but is turned down and must seek help from the king of Cardair—who is already plotting something. Meanwhile, Nina wants to grow closer with her foster father after all that has transpired.

Nina faces the Harmonium while Nagi believes she could be the true princess. Influenced by Midori’s leadership, Mashiro begs the people of Aswad to allow her people in. Then, the Valkyrie are assigned their first mission: capture Mashiro.

Midori and her group make their way to Cardair to retrieve their stolen data. Arika faces Major Wang and the Valkyrie unit to protect Mashiro. But back in the city, Nagi and Nina prepare the Harmonium.

Arika and Mashiro wake up in a strange valley and meet Mai, the missing Fire Stirring Ruby Otome, and Mikoto, a cat goddess. They learn the truths of Arika’s birthright and the Black Valley.

Things are heating up as the countries prepare for war. Nina finds a letter left by Erstin that makes her reconsider her actions in this fight. Major Wang attempts to stop Nagi’s plans to protect Nina.
