Tesla Note

When a train bound for Oslo disappears, then reappears and crashes 3km from its tracks, Botan Negoro, a high-school girl trained by her ninja grandfather to save the world, is called in to recover the crystal fragment said to have caused the accident.

The Shard of Tesla that caused the train incident is said to contain the notes for the Tesla Coil, and could trigger similar high-damage incidents in the vicinity. Botan and Kuruma act to recover the shard and prevent that, but are watched by another duo.

The No. 13 Shard of Tesla had been stolen from Botan and the others, and Jingo believes that the secret organization A Small House was behind the theft. Returning to Japan, Botan, Kuruma and Ryunosuke hope to locate the Shards from their shared dwelling.

A Shard of Tesla is deliberately used in Chicago, where 3 of the 4 senior members of the Collad crime family are electrocuted. Botan and the others go to Chicago to find the Shard and its wielder, nicknamed "Preghiera," but find themselves in a gang war.

The one targeting Theone, boss of the Corrad Family, was his trusted No. 2 man, Bosé. Botan and Team Japan compete with the CIA agents for Bosé's Shard of Tesla, but due to his ability to control lightning with it, neither side can find a way to seize it.

After successfully beating out the CIA for Bosé's Shard of Tesla, Kuruma is shot, and Mickey offers the CIA's medical treatment. Botan and company are wary, but accept to save Kuruma's life. Meanwhile, a third party goes into action to snatch the Shard.

The group who took control of Botan's emotions and stole her Shard of Tesla is Una Casita, the secret organization Jingo mentioned earlier. Botan and the Japanese team work with the CIA team of Mickey and Oliver to pursue Una Casita members Pino and Elmo.

Despite events being beyond her control, Botan cannot help but feel responsible for the death of Pino. Combined with having another Shard of Tesla taken from her, Botan arrives at a major decision.

Botan and the others embark upon a new mission in the snowy mountains of Russia. An unidentified creature labeled "Bigfoot" is attacking mountain climbers, and a Shard of Tesla could be responsible, so they contact a mountain guide who encountered it.

Both Una Casita and Japan Safety now possess at least one Shard. Jingo and Toriumi are the only ones who know how to access their Shard, to ensure that it stays with them, but there are others watching closely for a chance to get their hands on it.

Ryunosuke and Oliver had been spies for Una Casita all along, and are now both missing. The Japanese team reels in shock, while Mickey is suspected of having colluded with Oliver, and is on the run. They must both reach a decision to tackle the situation.

Una Casita plans to use their airship Ikaros to spread the special abilities of the Shards of Tesla throughout the world via satellite. Botan, Kuruma, and Mickey sneak aboard the Ikaros to seize the Shards, as the final showdown with Una Casita begins.

Botan and the others face off against Mr. D, the head of Una Casita. To prevent Mr. D from fulfilling his plan to control mankind using the Shards of Tesla, Botan, Kuruma, and Mickey head for where the Shards are being held outside the airship Ikaros.
