Tom Jones

Tom, a foundling, is adopted by Squire Allworthy. He grows up and falls in love with Sophia Western, unfortunately she is already betrothed to Blifil, his scheming arch-rival.

Tom returns to Sophia, but is called back home because Squire Allworthy is ill and not expected to live.

Tom embarks on a journey and gets caught in the Jacobite Rebellion, while Sophia attempts to escape the threat of marriage.

Sophia, hotly pursued by Tom, faces perils on the road to London.

Lady Bellaston is determined to separate Tom and Sophia, and concocts a scheme with Lord Fellamar.

Tom falls foul of a press gang hired by the evil Lord Fellamar. Incest, sex violence and plenty more shenanigans will happen before Tom gets to Sophia.
