Unthawed: The Great Northern Dangle

Unthawed Ep. 1 is the journey to Lake Michigan for amazing smallmouth fishing, as well as walleye & perch. Justin Rackley, LakeForkGuy, is traveling with Manager Matt from Googan Squad and joined by Jeremey Starks, Bass Mafia, who has won multiple bass fishing elite series titles. The waves are big, but so is the fishing.

The guys are attempting to catch 100 smallmouth bass in one day. Justin and Matt figure out that the dropshot is the best fishing technique for these spawning fish and discover what large waves look like after a storm rolls in on the lake with heavy winds.

LakeForkGuy and Matt are going after Matt's Personal Best smallmouth and then they break out the long rods for some clear water smallmouth fishing. The best fishing technique is still the dropshot, but the opportunity to break PB's on the fly was a chance they couldn't pass up.

In the finale the guys are fishing for some of the best tasting fish in the United States. The northern walleye, yellow perch, suckerfish and whitefish are on the "golden crispy" list, and it's time to dangle. We hoped you enjoyed Unthawed!
