November, 1986. Second-year student at Yunagi university, Touya Fuji, is having a nightmare one morning. The dream is about his girlfriend and newly-cast idol, Yuki Morikawa. Touya oversleeps and misses his first day of a part-time job. He is promptly fired and reluctantly goes to school. There, he bumps into Yuka who is on her way to a taping of a TV show. Yuki stops by music star-turned-studio president, Eiji Ogata's home, after finishing shooting a TV shoot. At the same time, Touya is paid a surprise visit by his childhood friend, and college classmate, Haruka Kawashima. The two of them go for a walk together. Yuki finds Rina crying in Eiji's bedroom and wonders what's going on. The next day, two girls clad in poor disguises come to cafe Echo...
