Candice investigates an assault on a rugby coach left for dead. The case first turns to a fired ex-player, but then Candice discovers the victim had a long-held secret.

Submerged in the middle of an oyster bed lies the body of a student from Montpellier University. Candice thinks his death might have to do with the poaching and illegal sale of oysters. The victim didn"t have much money, and it would have helped to finance his studies. As Candice delves into the young man"s life, she realizes how tempting illegal activities can be when it's hard to make ends meet.

"Today at 11:11 AM, Mr. Van der Vaeren will die." This strange email is sent to the station, and so Candice and her team track down Van der Vaeren on a construction site where he works. Having no idea about the origin of the threat, Van der Vaeren has an angry outburst before dropping dead of a heart attack at the precise hour predicted. Then Candice receives a new email with a new threat.

When a brilliant young businessman is thrown off a bridge, Candice suspects the murderer of being a graffiti artist. She starts hunting down an infamous tagger: the elusive "Cat," who has been giving the runaround to the police for two years, causing damage amounting to thousands of euros in the meantime. The investigation puts Candice on the trail of three friends with contrasting fates.

A worker for the famous French perfume manufacturer Lacombe is found dead, having been sprayed with a deadly poison. On discovering that she was being watched by her employers, Candice's investigation turns to the possibility of industrial espionage. For the perfume market is worth millions of pounds, and a "war of the roses" is raging between luxury brands and counterfeiters.

A boat catches fire after hitting the seawall in the port of Sète. On board is the body of what appears to be Lt. Daniel Langlois. Recently retired after a tour of duty in Mali, he had been having trouble readapting to civilian life. His wife felt he had become a stranger. Candice discovers that Langlois had installed surveillance cameras all around the house. Why was he watching his loved ones?

At the Sète Theater, an amateur troupe is performing Molière's "Scapin's Deceits" when young actress Amira is murdered. Candice is convinced the killer is a troupe member. She suspects the director, Simon Ferreur, was having an affair with the girl. But when the autopsy indicates otherwise, Candice must work out who Amira, with her double life, really was.
