Timo, an esteemed concert pianist, receives a surprise visit from a slovenly old man claiming to be his father. A suspicious Timo reluctantly allows the stranger into his home. Timo eventually believes the man's story, and the two set off on a journey through Finland to reconnect with estranged family. The man reveals himself to be Timo's legitimate father, along with a long hidden secret.
