Dr Eva's Great Portuguese Escape

Dr Eva Osmond and her husband, Wyatt pack up and sell their luxurious home in Ireland. They say their goodbyes to friends and family. As they walk through the gates of an abandoned, run-down Portuguese hotel they attempt to create their dream.

Dr Eva returns to Ireland to finalise the sale of the house. She meets with a local interior decorator and Irish Landscape gardener Diarmuid Gavin arrives in Portugal. With no foundations, lack of planning permission and spiralling costs, Eva's dream looked like it was turning into a nightmare.

As Eva and husband Wyatt lurch from budget crisis to building crises, all complicated by their lack of Portuguese, we learn if all of this is a recipe for disaster or the best thing that's ever happened to them. They are getting closer to finishing the hotel, but will they meet their deadline & celebrate the completion of the major construction. And will Eva turn up?

With the clock ticking on when they have to start paying back their huge loans, the couple have no choice but to open the hotel as soon as possible.
