Dar, an orphaned prince who can communicate with animals, befriends a prisoner named Tao, and the two head out to rescue Dar's love, Kyra, who has been kidnapped by Terron Warriors.

Dar rescues Akili, a warrior, and agrees to help him save his love. Unbeknownst to Dar, Akili is in love with Kyra.

Dar must rescue Tao from the flesh-eating Birdmen, but first must escape his own capture.

Kyra briefly escapes King Zad and is reunited with Dar. Zad uses a sorceress's spell to recapture Kyra.

Dar seeks out a snake venom antidote in the Valley of the Amazons.

A demon named Curupira agrees to spare the life of a tribe, if the tribe agrees to show respect for the lands and inhabitants.

It's warriors versus demons when it turns out the world's greatest warrior, Nokinja, gets her power from the demon Ketzwayo, who is the sworn enemy of Curupira.

The last unicorns are under threat from the Terrons, who believe their horns have magic properties.

Ketzwayo is brought back to life in order to infect animals with madness - a madness that affects Dar as well.

Dar and Tao must protect a nymph who is being hunted by three Venatu warriors. It turns out the nymph produces the water for the Fountain of Youth.

Dar visits Valhalla, the place of memories, where he learns of the murder of his Sula tribe. We get to meet Dar's parents in this episode!

Dar finds himself attracted to Zuraya, an animal trainer, who has been cursed by the Ancient One.

King Zad has a new beast in his collection: the Minotaur of legend. And the Minotaur requires 5 sacrifices per month. Tao becomes one of those sacrifices, and Dar must accept help from the sorceress to rescue him.

A pilgrim finds a liquid rock that gives him power over life and death. Meanwhile, the sorceress attempts to kill the Ancient One for cursing her lover.

King Zad believes an unknown child will bring about his demise, so he uses the sorceress to help him find the child. Dar and Tao must protect a mystical child that may in fact be the one Zad is looking for.

Dar meets a mute amphibious woman, created by sorcerers in the hopes of ruling the world, and learn to communicate with her in order to save Tao's life.

Dar works with the dolphin protectors of an underwater tribe to figure out who killed a friend of his.

The sorceress has been abducted by the Black Apparition, so the Ancient One returns Sharak to his human form so he can help Dar in the rescue mission.

The Golden Phoenix takes the form of Prince Garuda in order to take revenge on Dar for breaking a promise made by his father, to retrieve an urn from the Terrons. Guest starring Raelee Hill ("Farscape")

Something is killing both humans and animals in the forest, something that even has the Terron's scared. Meanwhile, King Zad tries to turn the sorceress against the Ancient One.

There is dissention amongst the Terron ranks when Qord discovers some Terrons have been capturing slaves. Dar has to once again rescue Kyra.

Qord thinks that killing Dar and Kyra will be the perfect revenge against King Zad.
