Sokoudjou makes his Octagon debut at UFC 79 against the very dangerous counter striker Lyoto Machida. Sokoudjou's two previous Pride fights didn't last 2 minutes. Machida however has been known to take fights the distance. Something had to give in this Light Heavyweight match up.

Jason Lambert and Wilson Gouveia were scheduled to fight before at UFC 76 but Gouveia was injured in training and had to pull out. Now these two well rounded fighters get to see who is a contender as they battle to move up the 205lbs ladder.

Tito Ortiz stepped into the Octagon for what was probably his final UFC appearance to take on the undefeated Lyoto Machida. This back-and-forth battle left the fans wishing that this was a 5 round fight.

Coming off of 3 straight losses Wanderlei Silva was looking to get his first win inside the Octagon since 1999. Keith Jardine, however, was trying to show that his win over Chuck Liddell was no fluke and that he was the top contender at 205lbs.

It's wrestling vs. Jiu-jitsu as Ryan Bader takes on Vinicius Magalhaes at The Ultimate Fighter Finale. Going into the fight this appeared to be a battle of styles but in the end it came down to who was better in the stand up.

Forrest Griffin puts his 205lb title on the line as he takes on the unbeaten Rashad Evans. This marks a milestone in UFC history as 2 former TUF champions square off in a title fight.
