Reggie Perrin

Neglected at home and bored at work, Reggie finds interest only in a glamorous new colleague named Jasmine. His boss would prefer him to focus his attentions on a marketing campaign for a line of pumice products.

Reggie finds two unwelcome intruders interfering in his marriage to Nicola: his mother and his wife's father. As if that isn't enough, his advances at the office bring a third outsider, the lovely Jasmine.

Searching for a new diversion, Reggie spends a day guest teaching at his wife's high school. But when he invites the class to spend a day with him at Groomtech, Reggie shows bad judgement.

Reggie and Jasmine take a business trip to Helsinki to pursue a potential new corporate partner. Reggie's sales pitch wins over his hosts, but his marriage may not be as successful.

Groomtech's future is on the line, and it's up to Reggie to save the day. He must help his boss, Chris, persuade the board of directors that Chris is the right man for the job.

Reggie seems even more stressed than usual -- and the office party threatens to be the final straw. He trades in his briefcase for a suitcase and heads off to a deserted beach, bracing himself for a new outlook.
