Happylou struggles to make ends meet for her family. But situations become even more difficult when her home faces demolition.

Amidst all the chaos brought about by her home's demolition, Happylou meets Patrick, a wealthy Cebuano, for the first time.

As she starts anew, Happylou applies for odd jobs such as a snake milker, and water slide tester. But fate seems to favor Happylou as she receives an offer from her best friend Ernest to work as a roast pork store assistant in Cebu.

Happylou finally arrives in Cebu, where she meets a quirky new friend Kimberlou. However, as Happylou tries to enjoy the grand Sinulog festivities, she encounters a man suffering from a heart attack.

Happylou is rewarded by Philip, who is apparently one of the wealthiest men in Cebu, by inviting her to the grand post-Sinulog party in his home. The plot thickens as Happylou gets the ire of Patrick's fiance Ericka, as well as his mom Amanda.

Happylou is promoted from being a store assistant to being an executive assistant. But it does not sit well with Amanda, who plans to get rid of Happylou in no time.

Ericka caught Patrick and Happylou in an awkward situation. Because of this, Ericka connives with Amanda to make life miserable for Happylou.

A brewing love triangle emerges among Happylou, Patrick and Ernest. But Patricks seems to get the upperhand as Happylou realizes that there is more to Patrick than what meets the eyes.

Happylou, with the help of Ernest, tries to find her missing father in Cebu. However, Happylou realizes that her quest to find her father is more difficult than what it seems.

Marta is disappointed to find out Happylou is trying to find her father despite her disapproval. She demands Happylou to return home, but the latter is persistent in her decision to stay.

Amanda's plan to get rid of Happylou intensifies as Philip decides to invite Happylou to live in his mansion.

Happylou gets closer to Patrick as they stay under one roof. However, Ericka is hell bent in destroying whatever romance is blossoming between the two.

As they prepare for the Beach Music Festival, Happylou and Patrick encounter a sea mishap that trapped them in an island. Marta, upon learning the news, decides to go to Cebu to find her daughter.

As she arrives in Cebu, Marta encounters Amanda. Meanwhile, Happylou tries all possible means to assure her mother that she is perfectly fine in Cebu.

On his birthday celebration, Philip realizes Marta is the woman he has been looking for a long time. But the reunion was disrupted when Amanda accused Happylou of theft.

Happylou is imprisoned because of Amanda's trumped up charges against her. Marta's anger to Philip's family intensifies as she realizes her daughter is being mistreated by Amanda.

Happylou decides to stay in Cebu to clear her name. Moreover, Philip finds clues on the identity of his lost daughter.

Ericka is mad that Patrick broke up with her. Thus, she creates plans to destroy Happylou's reputation. Happylou, on the other hand, finally fights back.

Philip discovers that a big amount of money was stolen from his company. He then assigns Happylou to have her own investigation. Freightened that Philip may find out, Amanda asks Byron to get rid of Philip.

Patrick was promoted to CEO. Upon hearing the news, Amanda tries to stop Byron from executing the plan. But Amanda's change of heart came a little too late as Philip figures in a car crash.

Happylou gets the idea that Philip is the father she has been looking for. But Happylou cannot confirm it due to a very unfortunate accident.

Amanda now controls the Fuentes fortune. Her first agenda: throw Happylou out of the mansion.

Marta finally reveals to Happylou that Philip is her father.

Amanda gets the surprise of her life when Philip's lawyer reads her client's will and testament.
