After a 10-month romantic drought, Shelly finds it increasingly difficult to resist new guy J.T., but her friend Janie cautions her to slow down and get to know him--especially after noticing a jumbo box of condoms in his shopping cart.

Shelly resorts to snooping through J.T.'s stuff to get to know him better; Donovan sends Nick to the best tattoo artist (DMX) in Miami.

Surprised to see J.T. with another woman at Rita's party, Shelly flirts with a former boyfriend, Khalif (COREY REYNOLDS - Broadway's "Hairspray"), to make J.T. jealous, which leads to a discussion about dating exclusively.

Shelly's hairstylist, Coleman (Phil LaMarr), bans her and J.T. when J.T. voices dissatisfaction with his haircut; Nick flirts with a beautiful UPS driver (Jazsmin Lewis).

J.T. feels that Shelly undermines his masculinity when she ends a bar fight for him; Donovan breaks up with his latest girlfriend.

Rodney P (Morris Day) calls his lawyers Sugar-Free and Comfort (Jerome Benton and The Arch Bishop Don Magic Juan) when Shelly refuses to do business with him.

After her car accidentally catches on fire, Shelly asks J.T. to lend her money for a down payment on a new one, but when he refuses, it causes her to question their relationship.

In the one-hour season finale, a humiliated J.T. admits to Shelly that he doubts she's the type of girl he could marry after he and his parents see Shelly and her girlfriends drunk and topless in a new commercial for a racy reality video.
