This film is set in Punjab during the period of unrest, which changed their lives forever. Gurshan, to whom tilling his soil meant most. Things started to look much brighter when destiny added another member into their lives. But then came the fateful night and a family who was a mere spectator of the oppression and unjust ways of the system became its hard-hit victims.
