Inspired by the novel Les Misérables, this is the story of Lucía Durán's redemption. She returns to her hometown to adopt the daughter of a deceased friend. Her new job brings her closer to Daniel Ponce, the man she falls in love with-but he is also the police officer pursuing her, as she is suspected of killing his brother. To prove her innocence, Lucía must flee and find the real murderer.
