Jack Petty, an insurance man, goes to Cuba only to have his world turned upside down. He befriends Harry Smith, a writer with a taste for trouble. Jack wakes up the next morning to discover a dead man in a bathtub and instructions to kill. With nowhere to turn and nothing but danger in his path, Jack needs to stay one step ahead of them to get out of Cuba alive.
