TATE

Tate returns to his hometown after a decade of absence. He has returned to help the sheriff, Royal Dano, with a convicted hangman. James Coburn is the man who has a date with death for having murdered the family of a girl who rejected his requirements. The problem with Dano is that Coburn has a lot of family that does not agree with the verdict and intend to release him.

Tate rides into town looking for a wanted outlaw, Ben Tracy. Ben defies Tate and he results killed. Then, Tate visits the sheriff to collect the bounty. The sheriff sends Tate to the saloon to wait while he fills out the paperwork and, since he doesn't like bounty hunters, decides to take his time about it.
