The Forsaken Westerns

There are two comedy short story westerns shown in this episode. The first has Duke (John Wayne) on the run from the Mounties. The Royal Mounted Police have sent their best man Sergeant Weaver (Jimmy Durante) after him. The second comedy western has Tex Morgan (Jack Benny) trying out for the part of Gary Cooper's brother in the sequel to Man of the West.

Ezra Jenkins (Walter Brennan) is a store keeper in the old west. People trust him and he often gets too involved in peoples business. Rachel Jenkins (Ruth Brennan) and Jake Andrews (Roger Pace) want to get married but there is some trouble to overcome.
