The Beautiful Lie

When her brother, Kingsley, cheats on his wife, Anna flies home from a family vacation to help repair the damage. On the way she meets someone who will change her life forever.

Anna tries to direct her affections towards her husband, Xander, but her mind keeps coming back to Skeet. Dolly gladdens herself by punishing Kingsley for his infidelities.

Xander confronts Anna when he discovers she has continued to lie to him. For Anna, there is now only one place she can go.

Six months into her pregnancy, Anna begins to fear for her baby’s well-being. She grows jealous of an attractive young woman who is spending more and more time in Skeet’s company.

Kingsley invites Anna to a family wedding so she can see her young son. Ignoring Skeet’s warnings, she plans to attend. At the event, Xander meets someone who instantly attracts him.

Now living in the country, Anna is often home alone with her baby and cut off from the rest of her family. Increasingly distant, Skeet finds reason after reason to visit the city.
