Ram Sita-r Luv Kush

Lord Ram and Goddess Sita return to Ayodhya after fourteen years of their exile while Sita is still an expectant mother. Putting the spotlight on Lord Ram and Sita's warrior sons Luv-Kush, the show follows how they become instrumental in bringing their estranged parents together. Bringing alive the virtues of bravery, brotherhood and sacrifice, witness this magnum opus.

Sita prepares to return to the forest, but this time without her beloved husband or Laxman by her side. While Ram fails to contain his tears, Sita manages to remain calm only to be overcome with emotion on seeing the plight of Laxman and the others. After Sita single-handedly tackled a couple of ferocious wolves in the jungle, she meets an ascetic who introduces himself as Rishi Valmiki.

Sita prepares to return to the forest without Ram or Laxman by her side. Alone in a forest, Sita defends herself against a pack of wolves. She then meets Rishi Valmiki, who convinces her to stay at his ashram after he agrees to her condition.

Ram is amazed hearing the tales of Luv and Kush's bravery. He sends fruits and vegetables for a feast in honor of their bravery. While the entire hermitage is enveloped in celebration, a fire breaks out! How will Luv-Kush save the hermitage?

Impressed with Lord Ram's divinity, Luv and Kush are excited to know more about him. Sita seeks Valmiki's permission to tell Ram's glorious story. She starts with Dasaratha's journey and how the gods blessed him with Ram and his brothers.

Lord Ram visits Rishi Valmiki's hermitage to meet the duo. As Ram begins to tell the story of how he and Sita's destiny were written even before they were born, he reveals the story of Mithila kingdom and King Janaka.

Post the departure of Shree Ram, Luv and Kush get nostalgic and ask Sita about the whereabouts of their father.

Ram informs his brothers and their wives that he has decided to send his nephews to Valmiki Rishi's ashram to get educated. Ram talks to all his nephews and is finally able to convince them about going to Valmiki's ashram. Meanwhile, Luv and Kush gather enough courage to start reading the Ramayana.

Sita is troubled that the Ayodhya princes are coming to the ashram. While she discusses the matter with Valmiki, Luv hears everything and learns the truth. Sita greets her nephews, but refuses to accept all the gifts offered.

Sita narrates the tale of Ramayana and how King Dasharath took the grueling test of the four princes to ensure a fruitful future of Ayodhya. However, the uproar dies away when she reveals that he was forced to kneel and apologize for failing.

Stumped by Pushkar's questions, Sita contemplates her reasoning for asking Ram not talk about her or let anyone see his pain. While the royal princes question Sita, Luv raises his hand on them! Enraged, Sita chides Luv and demands that he apologise!

Sita is worried after seeing the condition of the tribal women, so she suggests that they sell goods at the market place. When Sita is provoked by the men, she takes up the challenge. Meanwhile, Luv and Kush approach her.

The goons force Sita to accept defeat. After Ram appears at the market place and enquires about the commotion, he reasons with the goons and makes them realize that insulting women is bad. Sita is impressed with the change that he was able to bring.

As the tale of Tadaka continues in the dark forest, Ram requests Rakshasi Tadaka to yield for her sins as an act of atonement. But Tadaka furiously wages a war against him.

The princes express apologies to Sita for their brash behavior. Luv and Kush create a diversion and stop the evil Lavanasur from killing the Rishis. Pushkar unknowingly reveals something that provokes Lavanasur and makes him thirsty for blood.

Luv and Kush fall short of victory to defeat Lavanasur. To their surprise, Shatrughna arrives to assist them on Lord Ram's order. However, the situation gets tensed when they demanded him to know the tale of Ravan and Ram.

Vishwamitra tells Ram, the story of Ahalya, and states that Ram is the one who can free Ahalya from her curse.The joy and celebration for Sita's Swayamwar are blown away by Ravan's enormous Vimana,Infuriated at not being invited to the Swayamwar, Ravan confronts and insults King Janaka.

Ram and Sita encounter each other for the first time amidst the surreal garden of Mithila. Ravan and Ram come face to face with each other for the first time and a ghastly outbreak of verbal battle breaks out. Ravan takes centre stage as he attempts to pick up the infamous bow ;But, Ravan makes a fool of himself as he fails to pick up the bow.

When Ravan fails to pick up the divine bow, King Janak asks Ram to pick it up and complete Sita's Swayamwar. As Parashuram furiously urges to cut off the head of the person who broke the holy bow of Shiva, Ram tries to pacify him.

As the royal family begins the post-wedding ceremony, Kausalya cruelly sends Manthara to repeal her privileges. Subsequently, she vows vengeance. Upon Ram's insistence, Dasharath unfolds his memory when his arrow pierced into Shravan's heart.

Sita manages to impress Ram and everyone else with her divine vocal skills. But, her joy doesn't last long as Manthara plans to ruin the day. Sita explains her concern. Ram notices her reluctance to disclose the subject, and decides to clear the air.

King Dasharath declares Ram as the future king of Ayodhya in the absence of Bharath and Shatrughna. Furious by his decision, Kaikeyi storms off amidst celebration and Manthara takes this opportunity to incite her against Kaushalya.

Manthara's conspiracy is a success as Kaikeyi decides to redeem her two wishes given by Dasharath when she had saved his life. After reminding Dasharath about the boons he granted her for saving his life, Kaikeyi demands him to make Bharat as the next King of Ayodhya, and Ram to be sent in exile.

An upset Ram asks Kaikeyi for the reason behind her pain. Kaikeyi informs him about the second condition that she had laid down for King Dasharath - Ram's fourteen-year exile!After Ram accepts her wish to go to the forest for an exile of fourteen years, Kaikeyi asks her maid Manthara whether she had been too cruel on Ram. Manthara assures her that she was right in her decision
