The Witch and the Beast

Auf der Jagd nach Hexen gelangen Ashaf und Guideau in eine Stadt, wo zu ihrer großen Überraschung eine Hexe als Heldin verehrt wird. Doch sie vermuten, dass auch diese Hexe finstere Pläne schmiedet, und gehen dem trügerischen Frieden auf den Grund.

Guideau wird allmählich ungeduldig, nachdem das Duo etliche Aufträge erledigt haben, die sie der Hexe kein Stück näher gebracht haben. Doch ihr nächster Fall führt sie in die Stadt Hayden, wo eine Hexe grausame Serienmorde verüben soll.

With all the signs pointing to a witch being behind the murders, Ashaf and Guideau must track down the perp. Unfortunately for them, however, this serial killer is powerful and always seems to be one step ahead.

An outbreak of rogue undead baffles local police. Ashaf can't crack the case, but he knows who can: the Order's leading necromancer and her hapless assistant.

The renegade necromancer has his pursuers right where he wants them—or so it seems. But Phanora remains cool under pressure. Does she have another trick up her sleeve?

Ashaf and Guideau's new mission sees them travel to the Third Continent in pursuit of a witch on a killing spree.

Helga and Guideau go head-to-head with the Paladin Corps's Matt Cugat, an ice mage with power to rival a witch. While they struggle to escape with the Demon Sword, Ashaf suspects a plot.

Wounded and worn out, Ashaf, Guideau, and Cugat are all that stand between an Executioner with a fortress full of Paladins at his command and the Demon Sword.

Ashgan has lost control, and Ashaf finally unleashes Guideau to stop it. But even with the curse undone, can the beast stand up to the Demon Sword's apocalyptic power?

Die Henker treiben die hilflose Falvell in die Enge. Nachdem Ashaf außer Gefecht gesetzt wurde, ist es an Guideau, die Hexe zu beschützen. Doch um Guideau dazu zu bewegen, bedarf es guter Argumente.
