Wilfred (Australian version)

Adam and Sarah hit it off after meeting at a concert and she takes him home. All is going great - until he meets Sarah's dog, Wilfred. Wilfred offers him a bong and questions Adam's intentions for Sarah.

Adam and Sarah's relationship is blossoming and it's important to Sarah that he and Wilfred get along. Adam responds by spending some quality time with Wilfred - and ends up in the hospital.

Sarah is aware of the growing tension between Wilfred and Adam and calls a meeting. A silent but deadly psychological war is waged behind Sarah's back.

Adam and Sarah try to spend some quality time together at the beach with Wilfred. As Adam and Wilfred play a game of fetch in the water, they drift further out - and get caught in the undertow.

The doorbell rings and it's TV vet, Jack Underwood. He has received Adam and Sarah's letter and has come to help Wilfred with his behavioral problems.

A TV star friend of Sarah's pops in for a visit with his pooch, Cyros. It's a game of who can humiliate who when a game of "totem tennis" begins; all are vying for Sarah's attention which leaves Adam and Wilfred to band together.

Adam brings Wilfred to the park where Adam hatches a plan to make Wilfred disappear. Wilfred, left unattended, is picked up by the dog catcher and while he's in the slammer, Adam lies to Sarah, telling her that Wilfred's been run over.

Sarah breaks up with Adam. We follow Adam home and catch a glimpse of Adam's life without Wilfred and Sarah. He's getting on with it, but suddenly, Sarah finds herself in danger of losing her house. Wilfred calls on Adam to help her out.
