Even after seventeen years, the witch hunts continue. The goal is to eliminate all the protectors of the people. However, the people they protect can be consumed by darkness, fall to darkness, and consume others as well.

Unable to control his flames, León and his father go to meet Gael in order to retrieve an item that Germán had left with him long ago. Along with Garo, Anna had left the Madou Ring Zaruba to her son. They move forward, but a shadow follows behind.

León and Germán take yet another detour on their way to Valiante. This time, to a small village off the beaten path that shuns outsiders. While León and his father check the rumors of mysterious disappearances, they uncover another dark secret...

The reason for Mendoza's hatred finally comes to light. Father and son are reunited and they finally decide to attack the castle, with the help of Alfonso. But within the temple under the castle, looms a dark nest of Horrors.

Bernardo and Germán finally come face to face in battle. Alfonso and León leave the two of them behind in order to chase down Mendoza, only to find a castle void of people and full of Horrors. As they search for him, Mendoza continues to prepare...
