The Mist

A foreboding mist arrives in a small Maine town ushering in a terrifying new reality for its residents, putting their humanity to the test. What will people do to survive when blinded by fear?

As the mist settles in over their small Maine town Eve and Alex Copeland find themselves stranded at the mall. The mother and daughter gather with dozens of others around mall manager Gus Bradley as he tries to bottle up the rising panic.

Kevin and the group find their way to a local church where several others have found sanctuary. Upon their arrival, police chief Connor Heisel locks up Mia, Bryan and Kevin in the basement to prevent them from stirring up the people seeking refuge.

Kevin, Mia, Bryan and Adrian leave the sanctity of the church and arrive at an abandoned gas station where they try to reason with a father amid fears of the whereabouts of his own child. At the mall, Alex comes face to face with the mist.

Kevin and the others reach a hospital where Kevin has an unexpected and painful encounter with his brother Mike.

At the hospital Kevin becomes an involuntary test subject on what is driving the mist. Meanwhile at the church, Nathalie Raven discusses her theories about the mist and has a violent encounter with one of the church parishioners.

Kevin and the group find unlikely sanctuary in the psych wing of the hospital. Tensions at the mall start to escalate over the remaining food rations. At the church Nathalie and Father Romanov face-off.

Nathalie's influence over the remaining church parishioners continues to grow. At the mall Alex and Jay grow closer until Eve intervenes. Kevin and the group make a stop at Adrian's home where Kevin makes a shocking discovery.

Adrian arrives at the mall with somber news. The mall survivors start to turn on Alex and Eve.

Tensions at the mall finally come to head and the group makes a discovery which could provide answers about the origins of the mist.
