Charles buys a straw pipe from the Napoleonic era while Margie springs for a mysterious brass object -- but it’s a gamble as no one knows what it actually is. Charles is advised on how to use a sword when dancing, and Margie appreciates unlikely works of art produced by coal miners in the 1930s.

It’s an antiques escapade through Yorkshire for Margie Cooper and Charles Hanson. Charles uncovers some legal papers dating back some 400 years. Margie hasn’t had much success at auction, but hopes a large album of WWII maps will find her a big profit. Margie detours to a very dark barn before enjoying some tasty rhubarb crumble.

Charles spends as much of his money as possible, and Margie finds a crib that’s much more within budget. The final auction in Harrogate is the last chance for Margie to beat Charles. Roo falls in love with one of her purchases and decides to wear it, while James springs for something distinctly lavatorial. But will they be feeling flush after the auction in Leith?

It’s the final leg with James Braxton and Roo Irvine, as they head back up the northwest coast. En route, Roo heads far out into Morecambe Bay to look for a local delicacy and James runs away to Blackpool to join the circus. James spends big, picking up some furniture -- and a Michelangelo! And Roo finds an object with equine interest, but will it make enough cash to win the Road Trip title?
