The Gentle (Vasilina Makovtseva) lives on the outskirts of a Russian village. She doesn't understand why one day a package is returned to her, which she had actually sent to her imprisoned husband. So she sets out on a journey to a remote region of the country to ask for an explanation on the spot, in the prison.
